This is the larger and more powerful model that climbs walls and scrubs tile line. It also has longer cord. This model does not come with the Caddie / Car. Never allow unit to remain on or to run when it is not in water or severe damage will result to pump and motor. It is ok to turn on very briefly, for 10-20 seconds to check operation, but any longer will can cause severe damage to pump and motor.

The SharkVAC XL Robotic Pool Cleaner works by calculating the size of the pool and programs itself to use the most timely and energy-efficient route. This robotic pool cleaner uses an out-of-water sensor that protects the motor by not allowing it to run when it's out of the water. It also uses a beach entry sensor that detects when its climbing out of the water so that it has time to turn around and continue its cleaning cycle.
